Predominantly Private Associate Role
Conscientious colleague required for a position as a self-employed associate dentist for a mixed but predominantly private practice in central Ipswich.
An aspiration to provide quality general dentistry, an understanding of all aspects involved in its delivery and a willingness to constantly develop your clinical skills are much more valued characteristics.
Your clinical time will be spent predominantly on private work (Denplan Care, Denplan Essentials and private fee-per-item).
The proportion between private and NHS work is approximately 5-6 hours private and 1-2 hours NHS/day, with expected small variations
according to demand. There will be an expectation to perform around 4-5 UDAs per day.
Providing a good private base to start from, our practice offers fantastic opportunities for development for the candidate with the right attitude and willingness to progress. There is large scope for expansion of private treatment alternatives including cosmetic dentistry
treatment of anxious patients, facial aesthetics and implantology.
You will be required to be GDC registered and have an active NHS performer number.
You will be paid at £11.5/UDA for NHS services.
For private work there will be a negotiable percentage depending on experience, gross turnover, and quality of your work.
